Our Story
Lauren was turning 30 and decided she wanted to throw a birthday party. I pride myself on doing things for my kids that they would never expect, just to see their reactions. With less than a month to go, I was trying to figure out a gift that would truly wow her and leave her speechless.

Back in February, I took a class with the Incredible Church about writing a 32-page children's story. My wheels started turning. What began as an idea for a book for my son quickly shifted into me retelling Lauren’s own real-life experience from when she was in the eighth grade.

Needless to say, she never expected it. When her 30th birthday arrived, every attendee received their own autographed copy of the book as a thank-you gift for coming.
A Bigger Mission
As we enter into another year, we are giving Lauren Saves the Day a new purpose: acting as a fundraising tool for our nonprofit, Lauren's House 4 Positive Change Inc.

Our mission is to provide holistic academic and emotional support to at-risk children, youth, and their families, primarily in East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park. By bringing this book into your home or classroom, you are directly funding these efforts and helping us empower the youth in our community.
Remember: You are seen. You matter. Your thoughts matter. If you or someone you know is hurting, please talk to a trusted adult or call or text the National Crisis Hotline at 988.
